Airbnb launch a House on the Thames.
Airbnb is sailing a full-size floating house along the Thames this week to celebrate new rules to support home sharing in London – reports The Guardian.
‘The publicity stunt follows the passing of the Deregulation Act last month, which means Londoners are now free to rent their homes for up to 90 days a year without risk of fines or having to secure planning permission before doing so.’

According to the Evening Standard; ‘The small blue house, with its own fenced off garden, was seen drifting towards Chelsea at around 8am.’
The Met’s Marine unit said: “There are houseboats and then there are house boats!! Strange sightings on the Thames this morning. London.”
The residence features two bedrooms, a bathroom and a cosy living room, as well as its very own garden complete with dog kennel and wisteria.
Airbnb said the house will continue to float through the capital for the rest of this week.
People can win a night’s stay in the floating house by entering Airbnb’s competition before May 20.
