Mr Sandman, bring me a… fully functioning hotel please.

Do you remember the last time you went to the beach, came home, showered, and 3 months later was still finding sand in your bedroom?

Well now you can pay for it!

As part of the Friesland & Braband Sand Sculpture Festivals, event organizers at Global PowWow have spent 4 weeks creating 60, hotel rooms made entirely out of sand – and for $168 you can spend a night getting sand in all those places you never knew existed!

Unfortunately the Zand Hotels at both Oss and Sneek are fully booked for 2015, but the unique lodgings are set to return next year, with plans to spread into Germany and the UK.
