Apple fans can experience the joy of receiving a new iMac, at a fraction of the cost, by lighting a scented candle which replicates the odour of a freshly unboxed computer or tablet.

Twelve South has already sold out of the £19, ‘hand-poured’ Mac Candle which will permeate your living room with the divine scent of fresh electronics.

According to The Times “It claims to have captured the smell of a freshly opened Apple product, with hints of mint, peach, basil, lavender, mandarin and sage.”

In a statement Twelve South wrote: “Ever open up a new Mac box and smell it? (Or is that just us?) We took that scent — and literally bottled it.”
