Google maps has transformed into a giant game of Pac-Man.

Speculation about whether this is connected to April Fool’s day tomorrow is flooding the internet, but all you really need to know is: Google Maps. Is. A. Giant. Game. Of. Pac-Man.

The first thing you will notice when you type in an address is that the marker has turned blue. Not so odd, you may think – but then cast your eyes down to the the satellite option and you will find a new addition to the page. If you scroll your mouse over this new area, this happens:

However, be warned, if you are searching for an address which is particularly sparse in the old road department, you won’t be able to play. But don’t worry – Google will prompt you to change location, or you can press the “I’m feeling lucky” button.
