KOAL-ity service from Qantas.
Four furry marsupials were seen living the high life (quite literally) recently, as they were flown from Australia to Singapore in celebration of Singapore’s 50th anniversary of independence, courtesy of Qantas Airways. The stunt aimed to highlight good relations between the two countries.
All the stops were pulled out for the Koalas: Paddle, Pellita, Chan and Idalia – anything they wanted – Schweppes, flannels and fresh eucalyptus leaves – you name it!
In reality though, the Koalas’ VIP experience was short lived; they travelled in the cargo hold with the other animals.
They didn’t even get to fly economy.
