Aldi to the rescue.

Ongoing Brief: Communicate Aldi’s wide range of produce, superior value and customer service.

Inspo: Customers at Britain’s highest pub, the Tan Hill Inn in Yorkshire, were trapped by four-foot-high snow drifts and were running out of supplies.

Idea: Aldi to the rescue! We would deliver a care package of sausages, wine, dog treats, de-icer, and boardgames from the middle aisle.

Execution:  Our creative team spotted news reports of the stranded guests running low on essential items (including Malbec and sausages).

Working with the Aldi store in Catterick, we quickly commandeered a farmer’s snow plough and drove a mercy mission through treacherous conditions.

Within eight hours we had deployed our team, reached the pub, and delivered a blizzard of coverage.

Results: Over 270 media articles, including BBC, Daily Mirror, Independent, Mirror and Indy100.
