Demi Lovato: My Camp Rock Final.

Star of Camp Rock, Demi Lovato, is available for interview in association with the final of Disney Channel’s TV talent contest, My Camp Rock.

Inspired by the smash-hit movie of 2008, Camp Rock, (makers of High School Musical) My Camp Rock has seen the channel search for the next generation of young talented musicians. In true Camp Rock style, four young finalists will go head-to-head in a “Final Jam”, with viewers deciding on the ultimate winner.

The winning band or solo artist aged between 11 and 16 will go on to record their own cover version of a Camp Rock track, with a specially recorded music video that will broadcast to millions on Disney Channel.

Demi Lovato hit UK TV screens last year with her lead role in Disney Channel’s smash-hit original movie, Camp Rock, where she starred alongside the Jonas Brothers (the movie has been seen by nearly 6 million in the UK and recently aired on BBC 1 over Easter ). Since then she’s gone on to take the US by storm and her music career has gone from strength to strength e.g. her solo album, Don’t Forget, was released in September 2008 on Hollywood Records and features the smash hit single, “Get Back.” The album debuted at #2 on the Billboard Top 200, selling over 89,000 copies in the first week. She also toured with the Jonas Brothers on their “Burnin’ Up” concert tour.

She’s now one of Disney Channel’s biggest stars and will be in two new shows over the next few months in the UK. She’s the lead in Sonny With A Chance – a brand comedy sketch show and she is also in the channel’s next big original movie Princess Protection Program, where she stars opposite her real-life best friend Selena Gomez (Wizards of Waverly Place).
