EVENTS: 7 MARATHONS IN 7 DAYS.

Stuart Kershaw is a  producer/ film maker who has made short documentaries for Current TV. His latest venture will see him take on a spectacular challenge – 7 Marathons in 7 consecutive days on 7 separate continents.

Whilst on these runs, Stuart will be filming an ob-doc for Current, which will showcase his training regime and follow Stuart as he travels the world to carry out this mission. In addition to filming the experience for the ob-doc that will air as part of a season on Current TV in June, Stuart will also be blogging straight to his profile area on Current and he’ll have a webcam with him, so he can give a daily update when on route.

March 8th is International Women’s Day, with this year’s theme being ‘Women and men united to end violence against women and girls’. Current TV has always championed women both in front of and behind the camera and will be celebrating IWD within their programming schedule. Programming will include pods from two of Current TVs popular female presenters Sarah Haskins and Mariana van Zeller. Giving Sarah Silverman a run for her money, Sarah Haskins is a popular American comedienne, renowned for her satirical delivery. A regular contributor to the weekly series Infomania on Current, her segment “Target Women”, mocks products, advertising, and media aimed at women. The “Mariana van Zeller” special will be airing on Current TV on International Women’s Day.
