Greenpeace scale London Monuments.
One of the most pressing issues concerning whoever wins London’s Mayoral election will be the rising levels of pollution in the city. Green Peace, renowned for their daring stunts all over the world have put the problem front and centre by, yet again, creating a visually striking protest.
Activists this morning scaled Nelson’s Column and put a nautical themed gas mask on the famous face with plans to place 17 more around London.
Greenpeace also breached security at Parliament to affix another gas mask over the face of Winston Churchill. Each of the pictures should offer as a stark reminder to everyone about a very real issue.
An amazing idea and daring execution.
