Neutrogena give new meaning to the term ‘sound waves’!.
Skincare brand Neutrogena have just made summer trips to the coast sound a whole lot better with the creation of the world’s first beach radio station – that can only be heard underwater.
Beachgoers in Puerto Rica were treated to a submerged live feed of buoyant beats and sun care education as they took a dip on the popular San Juan beach, courtesy of ad agency DDB Latina and local radio station La X.
Neutrogena promotors were also on hand to dish out samples of their Wet Skin sun care range, promoting their message that ‘under the sun, the fun never stops.’
The subaquatic soiree was achieved using the same Oceanears speakers marine biologists employ to communicate with dolphins, as well as a GoPro to capture the full undersea frolic.

We’d love to see this on some English beaches in the near future…
Although how much you’d be able to hear over the sound of your own chattering teeth is TBC.
