The Creme Egg Café opens in London.
There’s very little at Taylor Herring towers that causes as much uproar as chocolate. “The recipe has changed!” you might hear echoing around, and “why are there so many fancy flavours now? IT”S ALL JUST WRONG!”
One member of staff thought there were fewer creme eggs in the packet she bought. SHE WAS FURIOUS.
Creme Eggs have had a tough time of it, but this latest initiative is sure to turn a few heads and restore a little bit of faith in the brand.
The world’s first Cadbury Creme Egg cafe has opened in London’s Soho, and it will be welcoming customers for the next seven weeks.
The restaurant offers 4 twists on classic recipes, using Creme Eggs to add a twist.
The first floor is where you’ll find the sit down cafe. As well as the toasties it also serves other delights such as Creme Egg and soldiers, Creme Egg tray bake and mini Creme Eggs and strawberries.
All dishes cost £4 and come with a cup of tea or coffee.
The popularity, already, has proven massive with a waiting list as long as your arm and the café guaranteed to be packed every night.
With celebrities attending, a massive buzz on social media and a lot of print coverage the waiting list is only going to get longer.
We’re on the list. We’ll be waiting.
